My sister-in-law and I, along with my dog, spent two nights at Lands Of Loyal Hotel from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day. We had the most wonderful time, and everything was faultless. The dog-friendly rooms were beautifully presented, very comfortable with plenty tea, coffee and biscuits on hand. From dinner on Christmas Eve until breakfast on Boxing Day, every meal was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and polite, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation, especially as a Christmas treat, and would love to return next Christmas. On a footnote, my very lively Spaniel also had a lovely time and was spoilt and fussed over by everyone.

We visited Lands of Loyal Hotel today to join in the celebrations for our friends Golden Anniversary ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ we had a lovely lunch & my main course of Aberdeen Angus Steak was cooked to perfection 👌👌👌👌👌 (I like my meat to be cooked very well done, and it was perfect for me) also the Potato was lovely, definitely 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Came here for a big celebration lunch. Staff very obliging with all the little details. Lounge and log fire most comfortable. Beautiful decor in dining room. The meal was top class - good ingredients, allowed to shine. We were very well looked after and had a lovely time.

Stayed here for one night on the way to start the NC500. What a wonderful way to start our holiday. Lovely welcome from really friendly staff, great room with really comfy bed. Dinner was superb again service in the restaurant and from the bar staff was exceptional , we felt very at home in this hunting lodge. Fireplace was amazing especially with the fire going. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The room that we plus our dog occupied was fantastic. The staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. The food was to a very good standard and plentiful. Well priced. The location also very good as it allowed us to walk our dog directly from the hotel grounds into the countryside. We will definitely return.

Had dinner, the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Food was excellent quality, young staff very attentive. Price very comppetetive. Only disappointment was waiting 70 minutes in lounge with absolutely no explanation why or being offered a drink.

I didn’t stay, but visited for an evening meal. The place is beautiful, the service at dinner from some very well mannered young men was excellent and the meal was delicious. The lamb shank was melt in the mouth, along with well seasoned vegetables all perfectly cooked. Thank you :)

We had pleasure of staying at the hotel with a large party of 30 for 2 nights.The Hotel was really good with excellent rooms and great food. The best thing about the hotel was the colleagues which were amazing, Couldn’t do enough and offered outstanding service to the whole party across the two days.

Lands of Loyal è un posto unico. Eravamo ad un’ora di auto dall'hotel e non sapevamo che direzione prendere, quando la foto del grande salone ha catturato la nostra attenzione. Varcare l'entrata dell'hotel è stato come entrare in una dimensione onirica. Siamo stati catturati dai colori dell'arredamento misti al calore che proveniva dalle fiamme della legna che ardeva nel grande cammino. Ci ha dato il benvenuto il carissimo John gentilissimo e molto accogliente. Stra consigliato per una parentesi da sogno. Dovevamo fermarci una sola notte. Alla fine siamo rimasti anche la successiva e speravamo in una terza, ma non è stato possibile per mancanza di disponibilità. Camere bellissime e particolarissime. Personale attento e disponibilissimo.

Charming hotel with amazing food!! The staff was so kind as to get out the historical documents for me to sift through to learn more about it! Big spacious room with quality linens. Only negative was low water pressure but that’s to be expected in such an old building.

Entrare in questa struttura è come intraprendere un viaggio in un altro mondo, un’ambientazione perfetta per un’esperienza unica in stile Agatha Christie, che evoca scenari affascinanti e misteriosi. Il personale è eccezionale, ciascuno con un carattere che sembra uscito da un film di Fellini, comunque sempre disponibile e cordiale nel supportare gli ospiti. La cena è un’esperienza da non perdere: gli ospiti possono rilassarsi sui comodi divani davanti al camino, ordinare in totale relax e poi essere accompagnati al tavolo quando il cibo è pronto. Il cibo è ottimo e di alta qualità. Le camere sono affascinanti, anche se alcuni dettagli mostrano un tocco retrò. Inoltre, il Wi-Fi potrebbe necessitare di qualche miglioramento, poiché non sempre funziona in modo ottimale. Nonostante questi piccoli inconvenienti, il soggiorno in questa struttura offre un’esperienza indimenticabile.

We happened upon the hotel in the passing on a day out exploring and went for dinner. The service, food and ambiance were brilliant! Very traditional setting and service. We were very impressed and will be back.

Exactly what you want. Think of an Agatha Christie novel set in a Scottish hunting lodge but without the murder. Very elegant. Extremely hospitable. Entirely memorable.

We booked 3 rooms here, myself and my partner, mum and dad and a friend. We all loved it. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out, we were in Scotland for a week and this is by far the nicest hotel we stayed at. The staff are all absolutely lovely especially the owners who take their time to come and have a word with you, it’s like you’re in there, very beautiful Home. Food was absolutely excellent dinner and breakfast. I would 100% recommend this hotel. The rooms were very well appointed had everything you need and decorate beautifully.

We had a lovely afternoon tea. Land's of Loyal is such a beautiful and unique hotel. It feels luxurious, and the cakes match. A special place for a special treat. That good we went back again! And again 😆 🤣. Really lovely staff 😊

Absolutely beautiful property! We only stayed one night, as we were just in town for a car show, but we would happily have stayed more. It's a stunning building, and our room was large and comfortable. The entire property was impeccably clean. The service was outstanding in all areas, and our dinners were absolutely superb.

Very nice stay for a family weekend. We were a very big group but the hotel staff were excellent, service fantastic and setting superb.
